Who is
Rebecca Summers?

Rebecca Summers is a passionate music educator and creator based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. With degrees and accreditation in English Literature, Communications, Music, and Education, she has a deep love for both music and storytelling. Her passion is for writing musicals and music that inspire, challenge, and involve young performers.

A trained pianist, Rebecca also plays and teaches a variety of instruments and performs in several bands on trumpet, bagpipes, and bass guitar. Her career has included roles as a producer, project manager, and small business owner, giving her a unique mix of creative and organisational expertise.

Rebecca now teaches at North Arm State School, the school her children attended, where her love of music is matched by the school’s support for her bold, imaginative ideas.
