Rebecca Summers is a Primary School Classroom and Instrumental Music Teacher in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. She has written countless works for voice, vocal groups and instrumentalists and several musicals for young people which have been performed to rave reviews.

Rebecca is a pianist by trade but plays and teaches a variety of other instruments including her two current loves, trumpet and the bagpipes.

Rebecca’s background is varied but includes work as a producer and project manager and small business owner. She now teaches at North Arm State School, her local, the school that her children attended and that she has a huge affection for. It is a school that values music and says ‘yes’ to almost every crazy idea Rebecca has.
